I came to know about Guruji in February 2017 from a friend in my office at Hauz Khas. Since then, with His grace, I have been able to go to Bade Mandir every Monday. In fact, I first have
darshan at Bade Mandir and then reach office. Even though I have been an employee on contract for the last 25 years, my supervisors have uniquely given me this permission.
My elder daughter cleared her 12
th Board exams in 2025, but not with great grades. I was worried about her education: how would she get admission to a good college, and if not, how would we afford a private university? My daughter was advised to apply for Delhi Technical University (DTU), though it's extremely hard to get in there. She was ranked at the 1,400
th spot. In the first round of admissions, which she was called for, students up to the 1200
th rank were taken in. We returned home disappointed and depressed, but consoled ourselves with the thought that it was our Guruji's wish: As the dictum goes,
Jo hota hai acche ke liye hota hai. (Whatever happens, happens for the best.)
My daughter dropped the idea of going to DTU. She had also applied for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (aka IP university), and prayed that she get into a good college at the university. On 4
th August, I took my daughter to Bade Mandir so that she could offer prayers there to Guruji. After all, nothing is impossible for Him and with Him. Obstinate traffic got in our way that day, but we managed to reach the holy sanctum sanctorum of the Mandir. My daughter pleaded with Guruji that she get admission to the Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, though that too was a distant possibility, or into a good college in IP university.
Indraprastha University was to announce results on 14
th August, which were postponed to 19
th August, with the results to come that night. Suddenly, DTU decided it would do a special spot round of counselling on the very same day, from noon onward. My daughter insisted that we should go for this spot round because she would get admission. I was unsure. Following the courage of her conviction and her intuitive belief, we went to IP university by noon. We noted that students up to the 1000
th rank were getting admission. Again, we were out by a margin of 400. I kept on chanting Guruji's mantra as we waited. The University was going to close for the evening, when at 5.15pm, the wide, magnanimous doors of Guruji's assured grace opened: The University had given admissions to students up to the 1500
th rank!
I thanked Guruji for keeping His merciful hands upon my daughter's head and mine. It was by His will that the IP admission round was postponed. Otherwise, we would not have even thought of coming back to DTU. Guruji had planned and directed all our steps so that my daughter could get admission in Delhi's top university. Our eternal thanks to Guruji for opening His doors to us, admitting us into His
sangat, guiding us in our faith and our prayers, guarding us, and making my daughter's devotional prayer and ardent wish come true.
