In March 2024, my father was struck by a neurological problem, which caused behavioural and mobility issues. My wife and I stay in the UK while my sister and her family are in India, and we were all quite shaken up. My father had to stay at my sister's place as he required constant care. My sister consulted several doctors in India and tried many treatments, but there was not much clarity about what was happening. Managing him was not easy, and I travelled thrice to India to see my father.
Both my sister's family and mine have strong faith in Guruji. We kept praying to Guruji and asked for His blessings to guide us and give us strength. At times, my sister became disheartened with father's deteriorating condition and suggested that we consult astrologers. I kept telling her that Guruji was testing our faith and that we should continue to trust Him. I believed that with Guruji's blessings everything would eventually become better.
My father was with my sister and her family for almost a year. For the past six years, he had been travelling to visit us in the UK and we wanted him in the UK but his medical condition was a huge constraint. The doctors were sceptical and did not want to own up to such a substantial risk.
However, nearly a year after he took ill, in February of 2025, we gathered up the courage to decide to bring him to the UK. I could not travel to India myself, so my wife stepped forward. Between themselves my sister and my wife managed to consult doctors, arrange for medicines, complete medical formalities, and book the travel tickets. When we informed my father about the plan, he was struck by anxiety and insisted he was not healthy enough to travel. Indeed, he had stopped going out of the house because of his condition. So, when my wife reached India and met him, he was pleasantly surprised to see her—but still unwilling to travel.
Then thanks to Guruji's immense grace, on the third day of my wife's visit, she managed to cajole father out of the house and take him to her mother's place. For us this itself felt like a miracle. Gradually, father's confidence improved and he agreed to travel.
He completed the entire journey from Delhi to the UK. Throughout the journey he remained calm and was his normal self. Our relatives were shocked when they heard of it. Within just one week everything—travel planning, doctor consultations, medicines, and all formalities—fell into place.
We were amazed and deeply grateful to Guruji for His blessings.
In the UK, my father's health improved significantly. He now takes his medicines regularly and enjoys being with the family. We are extremely grateful to Guruji for His blessings and protection during this difficult time. We firmly believe that with Guruji's continued grace father will recover fully. Jai Guruji!
