Blessings at the Bade Mandir

Two years ago, my confidence was severely dented as acne attacked my face and my weight increased. My dermatologist told me to get an ultrasound done since he suspected I might have small cysts in my ovaries--a condition known as polycystic ovarian syndrome.

I am very scared of medical investigations, that too blood tests, but had to go through them. Thankfully, nothing more than a benign cyst showed up.

A gynaecologist looked at the cyst, but thought it was not alarming if my menses were occurring at their normal time. I was not reassured and went to another doctor, who went ahead and asked me to get a CA 125 test done .

I was taken aback. How could malignancy be suspected at such a young age? My mother took the question to the doctor, and she said that she had to rule out all possibilities.

I am a firm believer in Lord Krishna, or Thakurji, to whom I prayed. My test reports were normal, but the fear that I had to go through an early-detection cancer test stayed with me.

My elder sister, who has been Guruji's devotee since 2008, encouraged me to visit Guruji's Bade Mandir in July of 2013. I was curious to visit the temple, as I was hearing about Guruji everywhere. I went to Bade Mandir and felt blessed. I took my mom to Bade Mandir too. Since that day, my faith deepened without any external prompting. I kept asking Guruji to keep calling me to Him.

He blessed me, and I was fortunate enough to get sewa in Bade Mandir. Soon I lost a lot of weight. He even blessed my father with good health.

I always pray to Guruji to stay with me and to keep His blessings with us. Without Him, we are nothing. Thank you so much, Guruji. Love you, Guruji!

Jai Shri Krishna! Jai Guruji!

Note: Cancer antigen 125 is a protein in the blood. It is used to check for ovarian cancer, but is not a definitive test since several noncancerous conditions can increase the level of the protein.
