He got a job after he received Guruji's pendant and her chronic health troubles vanished after she had langar
I want to thank Guruji for granting me a second life and to express my gratitude by sharing my
satsang. I was told about Guruji Maharaj through my relatives two years ago, when my husband had to quit his job. In 2011, my cousin had sent me Guruji Maharaj's photo, which I placed in my temple at home. However, deep inside I did not really accept Him.
In year 2011, during Shivratri, my father, who is a follower of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, went to Guruji's Bade Mandir and got His pendant. He gave it to my husband. The minute my husband wore Guruji's pendant, he started getting interview calls. With Guruji's blessings my husband joined a new company on 30 May 2011.
By now, I had started believing in Guruji but had not yet completely surrendered. We were living in Chennai, so coming to Delhi was not easy, though I really wanted to come down and seek Guruji's blessings at His Mandir. Finally, I reached Delhi on 13 April 2012, Baisakhi day, and visited Bade Mandir for the first time. The Mandir is so peaceful, well organised and systematic that I was captivated. Since it was Baisakhi, the Mandir was beautifully decorated with flowers and lights. I have no words to describe it.
I had two purposes for going to the mandir. The first was to thank the Almighty, our beloved Guruji Maharaj, and the second was to get cured of my diseases.
I have been suffering from systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE, a chronic inflammatory disease that occurs when the body's immune system attacks its own tissues and organs), a related chronic skin condition, discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE) as well as asthma, hypothyroidism and hypertension. The SLE was diagnosed eight years ago and I have been taking steroids ever since. When I taper my steroid doses, my skin problems get aggravated and I get ear infections. Each episode leads me to consult doctors. Even when I had been living in Delhi, both skin problems and asthma had dogged me.
I had been told never to ask Guruji for anything, but I asked anyhow. The human mind is very weak. When I was a child, my grandmother told me that when all the doors of your life are shut, then the only door that opens is that of your Guru or God. In my mind I had decided to come to the Mandir as many times as I could to seek His blessings and to have
langar prasad, which has divine healing powers.
During my stay of 21 days in Delhi, I came to the mandir eight times and with complete trust in Him had the
langar prasad. My faith had grown manifold and I was now certain that whatever would happen, will be for my good. After my three-week stay, I went to visit my parents in Madhya Pradesh. I got a severe asthma attack there and showed myself to a doctor, who recommended a series of blood tests and then asked that I get an antinuclear antibody (ANA) test done. (An ANA test measures an autoimmune reaction: a positive result suggests that the immune system is, misguidedly, attacking the body's own tissues.) When I got the reports, I was shocked. For the first time in eight years, my ANA report came negative and within the normal range. I repeated the ANA test a few days later, and it was still normal. In fact, all my reports were normal.
After reaching home from Delhi, I found that all my skin problems had vanished and after three weeks even my asthma came under control. All the problems vanished in no time. It seems like a dream.
